World Gold Council — Content Management and Testing

Opportunity
Content management and quality control for the council’s jewelry fair catalogue, interactive CD-ROM. This has been the third time since 2001.

Action
For the seventh time since 2001, the trio of content manager Alice O'Brien, information architect Ralph Spandl and designer Gyula Gefin produced the interactive version of the catalogue for the annual jewelry fair in Italy. Over 250 individual piece and collection images were carefully organized and recorded in various categories.

Result
Managing content separate from graphics and programming changes to data to be input up to the last minute. The same content database and design was applied to the online version as well. Once again, an extremely tight deadline was met..
